Hertz & Selck changes its name: New name „Hertz & Selck GmbH & Co. KG”

Hamburg, Germany – November 4, 2026 – Hamburg-based aroma and flavor manufacturer Hertz & Selck is changing its company name: From now on, the company will operate exclusively under its full company name. Hertz & Selck GmbH & Co. KG on.

The abbreviation "KG" (Kommanditgesellschaft, meaning limited partnership) has been part of the company structure for decades, but has often been omitted in everyday language and on business documents. The corresponding change has now been documented in the commercial register: The name will henceforth be used uniformly and in full everywhere – a visible step towards greater consistency that will not change anything regarding management, processes, or contact persons.
